Environmental Policy
We all have to do our bit to protect our planet, it‘s the only one we have and we can’t exactly go anywhere else - Mars lacks atmosphere, no sunblock exists for Venus and Jupiter is just a lot of hot air!
At Green Graphics we’ve recognised our responsibility to protect the environment and minimise pollution. We continually strive to improve and optimise our environmental management systems. Here’s how:
- Develop and adopt technologies that reduce environmental impact.
- Integrate environmental management considerations into all decisions.
- Comply with relevant environmental legislation and other requirements relating to the manufacture of honeycomb products.
Energy Policy, Our main objectives and commitments are:
- To continuously monitor and reduce the use of energy throughout all areas of the business. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding, so ask to see our report on where and how we reduce our energy consumption.
Waste Materials
- To reduce the generation of all waste materials and to minimise the use of landfill.
Environmental Impact
- To develop, change and improve our products and processes to continuously reduce their environmental impact. Improvement targets will be set every year for each of these objectives and measurement systems will be put in place to assess progress and identify corrective actions to be taken.
Employee Support and Involvement
- Our policy will be communicated to all employees through induction, awareness training and notice boards. The policy is available at all times to interested parties, including the public, via our web site.
We are realists, not tree-huggers, and understand that you can’t simply pull the plug on the modern world, but you can, if you try, dramatically limit the damage to it.
This is our mission, and we try to make it more of a reality every day.
