How our materials impact on the environment
is very important to Green Graphics, this page explains what we use
and why we have selected them.
Materials
At Green Graphics we source and use environmentally
friendly substrates that allow us to provide you with a
wide variety of applications such as Point of Sale, Exhibition
Displays, Window Displays, Signage and many more. All of the
materials we use are either recycled, recyclable or
re-useable. Many are at least a combination of two of these
elements and pride ourselves on using materials that allow us
to produce print solutions with the minimal amount of
waste.
Using these materials along with our knowledge
of eco-friendly printing technologyand design
capabilities we can deliver print solutions to you that are not
just great to look at and deliver your marketing
communications objectives, but are good for the
environment and help you achieve your environmental objectives as
an organisation. We believe we can do all this at a
competitive price when compared to
non-environmentally friendly alternatives.
Inks
The inks we use are UV curing inks that cure instantly upon
contact with the substrate. The inks offer superb dot reproduction,
lightfast bright colours and adhere to a wide range of rigid and
flexible uncoated materials. Here are some of the benefits to using
UV inks.
- They do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals as described in
the Montreal Convention.
- They are formulated free from aromatic hydrocarbons.
- They are free of any volatile solvents.
- Our supplier is ISO 14001 registered.
